UKTV online Banner Campaigns
Carpe Diem were asked to provide an extensive online banner campaign for UKTV Style to promote the launch of a new series (Home Heist) as well as 3 new channels (Alibi, Watch and G.O.L.D). Over 100 banners were created, a mixture of static images, flash and video and covered a broad selection of websites, serviced via the Eyeblaster platform.

Footwear retailer Lotus Shoes asked us to develop an ecommerce store for direct sale of their product ranges.

The website was developed using ASP.net utilising both C# and Visual Basic coding. The website is controlled by a back end SQL Server database that synchronises with Lotus' current product database.

GlaxoSmithKline Presentation Software
GlaxoSmithKline asked us to develop a presentation suite to display information about new projects to employees within the company on a newly installed TV within their Maidenhead production facility.

The contents of the presentation can be changed by the alteration of a text file and allows the administrator to show a variety of files through the presentation including .avi and .mpg movie files, PDF files, images and PowerPoint presentations.

Onitsuka Tiger's Origami Mexico 66 website
Carpe Diem developed this Flash website for an Onitsuka Tiger promotional campaign featuring an origami shoe created by renowned Japanese artist Shin Tanaka.

The website features an animated unfolding room that contains all interface elements, including an instructional video on how to construct the shoe and a dynamic gallery that can be updated with people's attempts at making the Origami shoes.

The Ombudsman Service
The Ombudsman Service Limited wanted two new websites for their telecommunications ombudsman service (Otelo) and for themselves as a group.

They required two separate content managed websites, a member’s area for their Otelo members and an online extranet for the Ombudsman council members. Both the members’ area and the council extranet include pass worded login and discussion and bulletin boards, download sections, content managed information pages and user management functions such as login tracking.

The Otelo website also includes an audio download which was made available in different file formats for website users.

Legend of the Tiger
Carpe Diem created this flash website. Set in a dojo, the light flickers, the flags flutter, the leaves blow in, and mysterious characters wander through the background. Carpe Diem also created a desktop character (a samurai who runs, jumps and slashes his way onto your very own desktop, before providing you with handy product updates), as well as an action game with a slight difference.

Reagent CD-ROM
After discussions with Carpe Diem, ReAgent requested that a CD-ROM version of a brochure be created. Having a brochure in an electronic format instead of the traditional paper based examples, the ReAgent CD-ROM is fast to index, has an immediate search and is never out of date. This saves thousands of pounds in both printing costs and negates the need for costly annual updates.
